The roots of VSR Thaper & Partners trace back to 1977 when brothers Vijay and Krishan Thaper, set up a modest accounting firm in Warwickshire, England. Their practice swiftly expanded into the West Midlands, becoming a cornerstone for the South Asian business community. Vijay, a Chartered Accountant, and Krishan, who would later become a Justice of the Peace, carved a niche in providing advisory services to start-ups and small businesses primed for growth.

The firm flourished for over 30 years until Vijay's passing in 2010, laying the foundation for what would become VSR Thaper & Partners. Sunil's journey took him further, moving to the United Arab Emirates in 2014, where he gained extensive local and international experience, notably in the Oil & Gas, technology, and real estate & construction sectors.

By 2023, Sunil recognized a market opportunity and established VSR Thaper & Partners in Dubai, envisioning a firm that not only continues where Vijay and Krishan left off, but also propels the firm into the future with innovative services tailored to the evolving needs of startups and SMEs.

Sunil, Vijay's son, joined the family practice, later earning his qualification as a Chartered Accountant in 2008. His role involved advising clients, conducting statutory audits, and strategizing on tax planning and mitigation, in addition to handling intricate HMRC investigations. His experience spanned several sectors, including global media, manufacturing, healthcare, and financial services.

In 2014, seeking to advance his career and widen his scope, Sunil moved to the United Arab Emirates. During his tenure in Dubai, he accumulated substantial local and international experience in the finance, Oil & Gas and technology sectors.

By 2023, recognizing a market opportunity, Sunil decided to establish VSR Thaper & Partners, aiming to support the dynamic startup and SME landscape in Dubai.
